A famous Belarusian artist Ales Pushkin died in the hospital’s intensive station where he was brought from prison. The circumstances of his death are unknown.
On July 11th, his wife announced a tragic event on her page on social media.
Ales Pushkin was an artist, curator, and activist. In 2021 he became a political prisoner for the portrait of Yauhen Zhyhar – an anti-Soviet partisan.
He actively participated in protests of 2020 after the rigged presidential elections.
